As a college student, a study in France opened Cindy to the effects of beauty in daily living. Combining this joie de vivre and her love of antiques, she opened the doors of Circa Interiors & Antiques in 1980. Drawing on her knowledge of antiques, understanding of design and passion for quality, Cindy has created a style showcased in leading design magazines, including Southern Accents, House Beautiful, Southern Living, Veranda and House & Garden. 

Cindy Smith has been recognized nationally for timeless interiors that balance the classic and the new. Cindy co-authored The Welcoming House, and has grown into a leading purveyor of fine 18th, 19th and 20th century English and Continental antiques and custom contemporary furnishings with her antique business, Circa II Antiques. In her free time she is a loving grandmother of six who loves spending time with family, traveling, cooking and entertaining.

Like Cindy, MK is a committed Francophile and lover of antiques. She is known for a modern twist on traditional design, as she is all about balance. It's the philosophy behind her eclectic, sophisticated interiors — which mix edgy pieces with antique treasures. Texture, clean lines & organic elements fuel MK’s designs to create thoughtful and curated spaces. She prides herself on being able to create functional and exceptional spaces by blending her style with her client’s tastes to create a cohesive, unique look. When not designing, MK loves traveling to new places with her husband and spending time with their daughter and four rescue dogs.
